Reviews are commonly used for lenders but they can also be helpful for litigation assignments as well.  If you are headed into trial it can be a huge benefit to the attorney and their client for the opposing expert's report to be reviewed as well as the expert that you hired to be reviewed. It helps the attorney establish credibility on either side's expert's reports and will outline the good and the bad in the reports. This can help the attorney to develop effective questions when examining an expert witness.
